Tbilisi district court considers appeal of the opposition Labor Party, which called for the March 28 parliamentary elections to be invalidated and ballots recounted.
Labor Party, according to the official results received 5,8% of votes in parliamentary elections, thus failed to secure seats in the legislative body; however the party claims ballot was totally falsified by the authorities.
Final results of March 28 polls will be announced after April 18, when repeat elections will be held in two districts of Adjarian Autonomy.
The Central Election Commission annulled results of elections in Khulo and Kobuleti election districts of Adjara, citing numerous irregularities and violations.
