Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will leave today for Turkish capital Ankara on an official visit.
As the Turkish new agency Anadolu reports, Saakashvili will hold meetings with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Necdet Sezer. Following the talks Sezer and Saakashvili will hold a joint press conference.
On the second day of his visit to Turkey, Saakashvili will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and then proceed from Ankara to Istanbul.
The issues of cooperation between the two countries and common regional and international developments will be discussed during the visit.
