The Supreme Court remanded Sulkhan Molashvili, the former chairman of the State Audit Agency and close ally of ex-President Shevardnadze, for another stint of pre-trial custody on October 23.  The court remanded Molashvili for an additional one month and ten days of pre-trial detention.

Molashvili, who is accused of alleged misappropriation of 3 million Lari, has already served a 6-month pre-trial sentence pending investigation.
