Opposition leader Sergey Bagapsh, whose supporters captured on November 12 several governmental buildings in breakaway Abkhazia?s capital Sokhumi, called his supporters for calm and urged to disband, RIA Novosti news agency reported.
Sergey Bagapsh addressed supporters from one of the windows of the Parliament, which was stormed by his supporters early today. He confirmed that several people were wounded, while his supporters were capturing the Parliament.
?We should remain calm and do maximum we can to preserve peace in Abkhazia? We will take over power with the peaceful means,? Bagapsh said.
Bagapsh also said that he met with the pro-governmental candidate Raul Khajimba on November 12. Bagapsh expressed hope that he will agree with Khajimba ?to work together in one team.?
Earlier Bagapsh offered Khajimba to form a collation government, where Khajimba could take over Security, or Defense Minister?s position.
RIA Novosti reported that after Bagapsh?s address his supporters started to disband.
Reports say that Bagapsh and Khajimba are holding talks at the moment in the Parliament building.
