On December 16 the Georgian and Abkhaz sides agreed that free bus traffic will operate between the western Georgian town of Zugdidi, which is at the administrative border of the breakaway region, and the Gali district of Abkhazia, which is predominately populated by the ethnic Georgians.
?The Abkhaz side has accepted our proposal over the operation of uninhibited bus traffic across the Inguri River bridge,? Governor of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region Gigi Ugulava told reporters on December 16, after quadripartite talks took place in the village of Chuburkhinji, in the Gali district.
