A group of experts from the Venice Commission, which is the Council of Europe (CoE) advisory body on constitutional issues, will visit Georgia on January 26-27 to help the Georgian authorities develop a legal document on the status of breakaway South Ossetia, the CoE press division reported.
During their visit, experts from the Venice Commission will meet Georgian officials, experts and representatives of the non-governmental organizations involved in defining the status of South Ossetia.
On January 26, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will address the session of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe and present Tbilisi?s proposal over a peaceful settlement of South Ossetian conflict.
