Official from Alenia Marconi Systems Visits Georgia

Paolo Prudente, the Managing Director of Air Traffic Management and Airport Systems, which is one of the divisions of the UK-Italian giant Alenia Marconi Systems (AMS), arrived in Georgian on February 22 for a two day visit.


The AMS is currently installing new air traffic control systems for the Georgian Air Navigation Service. The project also envisages training of  Georgian air traffic controllers.
 
AMS is a multi-national electronic systems company specializing in the design, manufacture and supply of radar and mission critical command, control and management systems to defense forces and air traffic management authorities throughout the world.


AMS is an equal shares joint venture between BAE Systems of the UK and Finmeccanica of Italy, which represents the world leading company for providing electronic systems for defense forces and air traffic management, with a turnover of over 1.2 billion euros.
