Georgian Foreign Minister Visits Brussels

Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili left for Brussels on a two-day visit on February 28. Talks with Javier Solana, the European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy and Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, the NATO Secretary-General, are scheduled during the visit, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

?During the talks in Brussels we will discuss the issue of Georgian-Russian relationship. We will push the issue of prolongation of international monitoring on the border between Russia and Georgia. The issues of the EU Neighborhood Policy will also be discussed,? Salome Zourabichvili said before departure.

Salome Zourabichvili also plans to hold talks with the representatives of the European Policy Center (EPC), a think-tank which works over European integration issues.
