Saakashvili, Berlusconi Discussed Economic Ties

After talks with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on March 4, visiting Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili called the Italian businessmen to invest in Georgia, adding that Silvio Berlusconi agreed to visit Georgia this May to further boost economic ties between the two countries.
 
?Italy has a great amount of free capital and we should achieve attracting this capital to our economy. The Italian Prime Minister recommended the local businessmen to invest in Georgia, since Georgia has good opportunities for it,? the Georgian President said.


Saakashvili has already participated in a business forum Invest in Georgia, organized by the Georgian Ministry of Economic Development, during his visit.
