Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili held a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on March 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on March 30.
The relations between the two countries, including the course of the negotiations over a timeframe for the pullout of Russian military bases from Georgia and the possible setting up a joint Russian-Georgian anti-terrorist center were discussed during the talks, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In another information note issued on the same day, the Russian Foreign Ministry also reported about the phone talks between Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili and Sergey Lavrov on March 29.
?The current issues of bilateral relations, including a schedule for the forthcoming Russian-Georgian talks were discussed during the conversation,? the Russian Foreign Ministry’s information note reads.
