The Austrian police arrested 41 Georgian citizens for alleged theft charges, the Austria?s Die Presse reported on June 14.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Affairs MP Kote Gabashvili told Rustavi 2 television on June 17 that arrested Georgians were asylum seekers in Austria.
According to Die Presse these Georgian citizens are suspected of organized crime, involving number of thefts worth of 504,000 Euro.
