November 14 Peaceful Demonstration in Pictures

The November 14 protest rally was the largest in Georgia since late 80s, when Georgians were protesting against the Soviet leaders. Around 35 thousand peaceful demonstrators demanded from Shevardnadze to step down.

Opposition called for civil disobedience against the authorities. On November 14 round-the-clock protest rally in front of the parliament, which started on November 8 against the ballot fraud, was ceased.

However the opposition leaders launched the civil disobedience campaign in the Georgian regions and called the citizens for protest march on November 17.
