Visiting Georgian parliamentarians from the ruling National Movement party met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin in Moscow on March 20.
“After discussion of the current condition of Russian-Georgian relations, the sides agreed that at the moment level of these [relations] does not correspond to multi-century tradition of friendly and neighborly [relations] between Russia and Georgia,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in its information note.
A group of Georgian parliamentarians led by Vice Speaker Mikheil Machavariani pay two-day working visit to Moscow.
