Leader of the opposition Labor Party Shalva Natelashvili has called on the opposition parties to boycott the local elections scheduled for this autumn, adding that large-scale protest rallies should be held throughout the country on election day.
“The opposition parties should boycott the unfair local elections; large-scale protest rallies will be launched that will last until the resignation of the president, and the dissolution of the Parliament,” Natelashvili said at a press conference on April 11.
The opposition parties have yet to comment on this initiative of the Labor Party.
