The Parliament has launched consultations over nominations for new judges of the Constitutional Court after six out of nine judges have expired their 10-year term in office.
It is expected that the voting will take place at a special parliamentary session on July 13.
According to the law two out of six new judges will be appointed by the Parliament; two by the President and remaining two by the Supreme Court.
Georgian media speculates that Environmental Minister Giorgi Papuashvili can be appointed by the President.
?I will not make a comment on this issue,? Giorgi Papuashvili, told reporters on June 28.
