Reports say three servicemen of Georgian internal troops and one policeman were wounded in an overnight shootout in the South Ossetian conflict zone.
Three other Georgian soldiers were wounded on July 8 as a result of an armed attack against the checkpoint located between the Georgian villages of Kurta and Tamarasheni in breakaway South Ossetia.
Sporadic overnight exchange of fire occurs in the conflict zone since July 8.
Reports also say that Georgian State Minister Goga Khaindrava will continue talks with the authorities in breakaway South Ossetia to foster release of three Georgians, who were detained in the conflict zone on July 8.
Up to 50 Georgian peacekeepers, detained by the South Ossetian militias on July 8 were released next day; however three Georgians still remain in Tskhinvali jail.
