Russia Adopted Statement over South Ossetia

The Russian State Duma, which is the lower house of the parliament, adopted on July 10 a special statement, in which it condemned the activities of the Georgian authorities and accused Tbilisi of ?destabilization of the situation in South Ossetia.?

In the document, the Russian MPs slammed the Georgian authorities for ?illegal and provocative actions in the South Ossetian conflict zone.?

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has already denounced the Russian Parliament?s statement as ?provocative.?
