The Russian Foreign Ministry criticized the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for its ?ineffectiveness? in defusing tensions in the breakaway republic of South Ossetia, according to Russian media sources.
Moscow also accused the OSCE of a biased assessment of the situation in the conflict zone in favor of the Georgian side.
This is the second time in recent weeks that the Russian Foreign Ministry has slammed the OSCE over South Ossetia.
In a statement issued on July 10, the Russian Foreign Ministry accused the (OSCE) of ?inactivity? and of offering a ?biased assessment of the reasons of escalating tensions? in the breakaway South Ossetia.
