Chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security MP Givi Targamadze will visit Russia?s North Ossetian Republic on July 22 in order to discuss developments in Georgia?s breakaway South Ossetia with regional representatives there.
Rustavi 2 television reported that during the talks in Vladikavkaz, the capital of North Ossetia, Givi Targamadze will stress the issue of arms delivery into South Ossetia via the Roki Pass, which links the breakaway region with its neighboring North Ossetian Republic.
