The Georgian Defense Ministry has refuted reports spread by Russian media agencies claiming it had purchased weapons in Bulgaria and Ukraine.
?Georgia has partner relations with both Bulgaria and Ukraine, however, no weapons have been purchased in these countries yet,? the Georgian Defense Ministry reports.
According to the Russian media, Georgia purchased various ammunition at USD 5 millions and plans to procure more weapons for an estimated USD 6 million.
