On August 10 the Georgian Parliament approved 13 new ambassadors of Georgia to foreign countries. Giorgi Arveladze, the secretary-general of the ruling National Movement party, was also approved as Georgia’s Representative to NATO.
The thirteen ambassadors approved by the Georgian Parliament are:
Valerie Chechelashvili – Ambassador of Georgia to the Russian Federation
Zaza Kandelaki – Ambassador of Georgia to Poland
Davit Aptsiauri – Ambassador of Georgia to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia
Zurab Beridze – Ambassador of Georgia to Romania and Moldova
Zaur Gamsakhurdia – Ambassador of Georgia to Slovenia and Slovakia
Konstantine Zhgenti – Ambassador of Georgia to Austria and Hungary
Davit Zalkaliani –Ambassador of Georgia to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan
Levan Asatiani – Ambassador of Georgia to Iran
Natia Japaridze –Ambassador of Georgia to France
Grigol Mgaloblishvili – Ambassador of Georgia to Turkey
Ekaterine Mikadze – Ambassador of Georgia to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates
Teimuraz Sharashenidze – Ambassador of Georgia to Bulgaria
Lasha Zhvania – Ambassador of Georgia to Israel
