Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania left for breakaway South Ossetia on August 12. He is accompanied in his trip by State Minister for Conflict Resolutions Goga Khaindrava.
The Georgian Prime Minister intends to become personally acquianted with the situation in the South Ossetian conflict area.
Earlier today Zurab Zhvania demanded the launch of direct dialogues with the de facto authorities of South Ossetia, as well as top Russian officials.
He also called on international organizations to actively participate in the conflict resolution and provide a top level meeting that would include representatives from the Georgian, South Ossetian and Russian sides, within the coming days or even hours.
