The Georgian population of breakaway South Ossetia, comprised mostly of women and children, are leaving the breakaway region.
?We are not running away. Simply, we will find shelter for our children and then return to our homes,? the Georgian residents of the breakaway region said.
The Georgian authorities have already vowed to protect the children and provide normal shelters for them.
Today Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania arrived in the South Ossetian conflict zone to personally get acquainted with the situation.
