Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili condemned once again the hostage taking incident in North Ossetia?s city of Beslan, saying that ?no one is insured against terrorism.?
The Georgian President has already sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, condemning the terrorist act and offering Russia ?a broad cooperation? to combat terrorism.
?What has happened in Beslan is a tragedy. Unfortunately there are casualties. Georgia has done much to eradicate terrorism on its territory and we feel safer, however I want to say once again that no one is insured against terrorism. We are deeply concerned over the developments in North Ossetia, since we have good relations with the North Ossetian people,? the Georgian President told reporters on September 3.
