Putin Reiterates Readiness to Hit the Terrorists ?Abroad?

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 13, that Russia has a right to take pre-emptive strikes to “destroy criminals in their hideouts and, if necessary, abroad.”


The Russian President was speaking at the special session of the government, which was attended by the regional governors of the Russian Federation. At the session he announced plans over strengthening the central government?s control aiming at affective fight against terrorism.


Chief of Russia’s General Staff Col.-Gen. Yuri Baluyevsky said on September 8 that the Russian army is ready to strike the terrorist targets pre-emptively and worldwide.
