Dozens of people gathered at the Freedom Square in capital Tbilisi on September 10 to commemorate those who died as a result of a terrorist act in Russia’s North Ossetian town of Beslan.
A condolence event, which lasted 15 minutes, was organized by the non-governmental organization Youths of Georgia. Participants lit candles and paid condolence to around 350 people who died in a school hostage-taking drama in Beslan on September 1-4.
