Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Valerie Loshchinin held talks with EU special representative to the South Caucasus countries Heikki Talvitie on September 18 in Moscow, reported the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The current situation in the South Caucasus, particularly the issues of the settlement of the South Ossetian, Abkhaz and Karabakh conflicts, were discussed during the talks.
?The importance of cooperation with the South Caucasus countries and the need for peaceful settlement of conflicts was stressed during the talks,? the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
