The Tbilisi-based Supreme Council of Abkhazia approved Irakli Alasania on September 30 as the new chief of the Council of Ministers of Abkhazia. Irakli Alasania replaced Londer Tsaava at this position.
On September 28 President Saakashvili nominated Irakli Alasania as the new chief of the Tbilisi-based Council of Ministers of Abkhazia.
Alasania plans to implement reforms and staff changes in the Tbilisi-based Abkhaz government.
?We should use all political, economic or public means to reintegrate Abkhazia,? Irakli Alasania said on September 30 after being approved on the new post.
