Georgian officials described the breakdown on the high-voltage power transmission line Kartli-2 on October 9 near the town of Gori, in central Georgia, as sabotage.
As a result of the exposition at the transmission line power supplies were suspended to the capital Tbilisi for several hours.
This is the second incident at the Kartli-2 power line in the last month. An explosion, which was also described as sabotage, hit the transmission line on September 14.
