Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili is visiting Brussels on February 3-5 for talks with EU and NATO officials.
Georgian PM’s office said Garibashvili will meet President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy; President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso; EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle; Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström and Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger.
PM Garibashvili will meet EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on February 5.
He will participate in a meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission and will also meet NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, according to PM’s office.
Garibashvili, who was in Munich before heading to Brussels, said that he expects that during the visit he will hear “indications about how accelerated the process of Georgia’s EU and NATO integration” will be.
