President of the European Council Donald Tusk will visit Georgia on July 20-21 as part of his trip to three South Caucasus countries.

He will arrive in Tbilisi late afternoon on July 20 after talks in the Armenian capital Yerevan earlier on the same day, before visiting Azerbaijan on July 22.

Tusk was initially planning to visit Georgia and Armenia on July 14-16, but had to postpone it due to the Greek debt crisis.

On the first day of the visit in Tbilisi he will meet President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Parliament Speaker Davit Usupashvili.

Tusk will meet PM Irakli Garibashvili and representatives of the opposition parties on July 21.

In Georgia he will also visit EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) and meet with Georgian troops deployed under the EU operation in the Central African Republic (EUFOR RCA).
