None of the Parliamentary Factions Joined the New Right Wing’s Protest

(Tbilisi. December 18. Civil Georgia) – None of the faction joined the protest the Parliamentary faction New Right Wings expressed. The faction was calling the rest of the factions for boycotting the sessions until either Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze or her husband Deputy Prosecutor General Badri Bitsadze resign.

The faction protests against appointment of Burjanadze’s husband, Badri Bitsadze the Deputy Prosecutor General.

“Appointment of Bitsadze means the concentration of too much power in a single family and creation of one more clan in the government,” Davit Gamkrelidze, Chairman of the New Right Wing faction stated today at the Parliamentary session.

The most of the Parliamentarians believe that the New Right Wing faction’s demand is a political intrigue and the law is not violated by Bitsadze’s appointment.
