(Tbilisi, May 4, Civil.ge) – Two Russian soldiers fled from the Group of Russian Armed Forces in Transcaucasus [headquarters in Tbilisi] found shelter at the Georgian Public Defender’s Office.
Russian soldiers stated at the news conference on May 3 that they were mistreated and abused by the other Russian soldiers.
Georgian Public Defender Nana Devdariani refused to hand over these soldiers to the the Group of Russian Armed Forces in Transcaucasus and said that she will hand over them only to the Russian embassy to Georgia in case of security guarantees.
