(Tbilisi, May 28, Civil Georgia) – New National Movement, led by MP Mikheil Saakashvili held meeting with Tbilisi residents in the frames of the election campaign on May 28.
Approximately 5,000 people gathered in one of the largest sport centers in Georgian capital.
Mikheil Saakashvili intends to run for the Tbilisi Sakrebulo [elected city council] Chairmanship.
New National Movement is the radical opposition of President Shevardnadze’s government.
“Shevardnadze’s government represents absolute despair and instability,” Mikheil Saakashvili stated at the meeting with the electorate today.
