(Tbilisi, May 29, Civil Georgia) – At the government’s meeting today President Shevardnadze expressed dissatisfaction with the involvement of the businessmen in the political activity.
“Every one who wishes can go to the Parliament and stay in business at the same time – this happens only in uncivilized countries,” Eduard Shevardnadze said.
The President requested Justice Ministry to elaborate the draft law, which would control and regulate the situation concerning the businessmen’s involvement in the politics.
