President Pledges Shaw’s Case will Be Investigated Soon

(Tbilisi, July 8, Civil Georgia) – “Georgian law enforcers should investigate the abduction case of Peter Shaw in the nearest days by all means,” Georgian President stated in his live radiobroadcast on July 8.

British citizen Peter Shaw was abducted from Tbilisi on June 18 and is till detained by the kidnappers.

“The abduction cases became quite frequent not only in Georgia but in the rest of the world,” Eduard Shevardnadze said.

The law enforcement agencies are also optimistic concerning the case. The Interior Ministry reports that the case will be opened in the nearest future.
