Zurab Berikashvili has been appointed as the Head of Interior Ministry’s Kakheti regional police department, replacing Shota Chanukvadze.
According to the Interior Ministry, Berikashvili served as the Deputy Head of Kakheti regional police department from 2017. Earlier in 2016, he was the Deputy Head of the first main division of the Counter Terrorism Center under the State Security Service of Georgia.
Shota Chanukvadze was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Emergency Management Service of the Interior Ministry.
