Zaza Tskhakaia was appointed on August 30 as the Chief of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department, replacing Sulkhan Tamazashvili who has taken charge of the Tbilisi Police Department.
Tskhakaia, 49, previously served as Tamazashvili’s deputy.
