Georgia’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 7.2% year-over-year in June 2022, according to rapid estimates released by the National Statistics Office (Geostat) on July 29.
Geostat said growth was registered in transportation and storage; electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply; information and communication; hotels and restaurants; and mining and quarrying.
A decline was registered in manufacturing, construction, and real estate activities.
