Parliament Against Structural Changes in Government
(Tbilisi. November 16. Civil Georgia) – It is most likely that the Parliament will not support structural changes in the executive government proposed by the President, Parliamentary Chairman Nino Burjanadze stated.
According to President Shevardnadze’s initiative, the ministry of tax and revenues should be divided into separate departments of tax and customs. The State Minister will head them both.
MPs think that the structural changes will not be effective at the moment and they should be implemented when the issue of Cabinet of Ministers is on agenda.
