Georgia to Develop Trilateral Military Relations

(Tbilisi. January 4. Civil Georgia) – “The Georgian Defense Ministry will concentrate on the radical army reform in 2002,” Deputy Defense Minister Gela Bezhuashvili stated on January 3.

Trilateral cooperation with the NATO and the partner states will be the part of the Georgian defense policy. Bezhuashvili stated that Georgia is planning to establish trilateral military cooperation involving Georgia, Great Britain and one of the Baltic States this year.

Georgia is already involved in this kind of military cooperation with the United States and Turkey.
