Georgian Officials Deny Links to Terrorist Acts in Abkhazia
(Tbilisi, March 27, Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry denies accusation of unrecognized government of Abkhazia that terrorist acts in breakaway region were masterminded by the Georgian secret services.
One died and 15 wounded in the two explosions near Ochamchire, breakaway Abkhazia on March 27.
Abkhazians claim that Georgian guerrillas and Georgian security service organized terrorist acts.
Georgian Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze stated on March 26 that provocation is prepared aiming involvement of Georgia in the armed conflict in Abkhazia.
