CIS Border Guard Coordinator Visits Georgia
(Tbilisi, November 28, 2002, Civil Georgia) Colonel General Vitali Gritsani, head of delegation of the Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of the Border Guard Armies of the CIS, met with the chairman of the State Department of Border Guard of Georgia Valeri Chkheidze on November 28.
Shalva Londaridze, spokesman of the Border Guard Department, told Civil Georgia that today the delegation will also meet with the Chairman of the National Security Council Tedo Japaridze.
The meetings will be dedicated to discussion of the issues, such as improved control of the Border Guard Armies Commanders Council’s activities and implementation of the Council’s decisions, as well as prospects of future cooperation.
The delegation leaves Tbilisi on November 29.
