Arms Cache Found Near Russian Border
(Tbilisi. March 17, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry reported today that a large number of weapons were found in Barisakho village, northern Georgia, near the Chechen section of the Russo-Georgian border.
The arms cache allegedly belonged to the Chechen militants.
Nika Laliashvili Spokesman for the State Security Ministry said today that large number of machine-guns, grenade-launchers, hand-grenades and ammunition was found in the hidden cache.
