24 Compete to Chair Public TV

Twenty-four candidates applied to compete for the position of general director of Georgian Public Broadcasting Channel 1 before the August 13 deadline.

This is the second competition, as in July the nine-member Board of the Public Broadcasting failed to choose winner from sixteen candidates. The Board is now expected to announce a final decision on August 23.
