Armed Population Has Released One Kist

Georgian armed population of Laliskhura village (Pankisi Valley) has released one Kist hostage. 18-year-old Kist was set free in exchange of Mamuka Arabuli and 80-year-old Davit Bazerashvili who Kists had kidnapped earlier.

Other Kists and Chechens (men), six in total, still remain with the armed volunteers. The population demands that all the people kidnapped in the Pankisi Valley be released. Two Spanish businessmen, Levan Kaladze (brother of Kakha Kaladze, the ‘Milan’ football team player) and an Arab businessman are thought to be in Pankisi.
