Zhvania Tries to Maintain Parliamentary Majority

During the session of the Parliamentary Majority, Chairman of the Parliament Zurab Zhvania proposed to the Majority members his plan of marinating Majority in the Parliament. The details of the plan are unknown. It is also unclear whether Mikheil Saakashvili’s supporters’ “Reformers” faction would be formed.

In the wake of Zhvania’s attempts to maintain majority, one more reformer Kote Kemularia has left “Citizen’s Union” faction as well as the Parliamentary Majority.

The session is held beyond closed doors.
