Representative of Spanish police visits Georgia regarding the kidnapping of two Spaniard businessmen last November. Together with Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Kakha Targamadze he makes effort to release abducted businessman.
The kidnappers demanded additional $250,000 as a ransom yesterday, Spanish new service EFE reported. Spanish media reported earlier that relatives of one of the kidnapped businessmen had already paid a part of the ransom but he was not released anyway.
Abducted Spaniards are detained in mountainous Pankisi gorge near the Georgian-Russian border, Minister of Internal Affairs Kakha Targamadze stated.
