One Hostage in Pankisi Gorge Released

Kidnappers released citizen of Georgia Aziz Khalilov today. Khalilov in injured and hospitalized in Akhmeta, Eastern Georgia. Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia stated that no ransom has been paid to the kidnappers. Law enforcers make no other comments regarding the case. Criminals are not captured yet.

Kidnappers demanded from the relatives of Khalilov $30,000 ransom. They were ready to pay a sum, but the police went against. Khalilov was kidnapped yesterday. 

Two Spanish businessmen still remain in hostage in the mountainous Pankisi gorge.
