Georgia Can not Eradicate Terrorism – Russian Defense Minister States

Defense Minister of Russia Sergey Ivanov accused the Georgian authorities of inability to settle a situation in Kodori gorge of Abkhazia where large number of terrorists operate, Russia news service Interfax reports.

“It is absolutely evident that Georgian government does not control situation on it’s own territory, or Georgian authorities use the activity of terrorists for their goals”, Ivanov stated. He said that Georgia is not ready to eradicate terrorism.

The Defense Ministry of Russia denies accusation of bombing Kodori gorge today. The Boarder Guard Department of Georgia announced that two military jets entered the Georgian airspace over Kodori prior the bombing of Georgian villages started.
